SAFETY TIPS

• Fuel lines for electronic fuel injection (EFI) engines are always under pressure, even with the engine off. Special tools and knowledge are required to properly depressurize the fuel system before the in-line fuel filter can be replaced. Because of the inherent difficulty of the task, fuel line work is best left for a professional automotive technician.
• Never perform any fuel system work with a high intensity work light. The hot light could ignite fuel. Always use a flashlight instead.
